Greetings Roj bash! I'm KabirKuhi, from kabir kuh region as my name implies. But I live in the west. I'm interested in learning about kurdistan because some of my grandparents are kurdish. I thought I was only laki, until I talked to my parents. Looking forward to learning about kurdistan and kurds.

Merci mademoiselle! I wish you the best too. Lak communities in Loorestan and Ilam are mostly farmers who live near zagros mountain chain. Our languages are mutually intelligible. Many Laks and kurds intermarry, as in the case of my family. I'd say maybe 70-80% of iranian kurdish is understandable to me. We share much history and many similar sayings and traditions. But I think our food is better.
