It's not so hard to understand that military veterans, who have been trained to fight, find it hard to re-adjust back to a civilian lifestyle. This happened after the Vietnam War.

If you really want to fight iSIS with the best fighters, then go find a way to join YPG forces in Rojava Kurdistan. If you want you fight from behind, in the background, then go to KRG like Piling said.
