I think İmralı is turning to a PKK base#1 :D
So while Ocalan was having his turkish kebab with bread and salad , surronded by turkish guard he came to the conclusion that PDP should take the Oath .

on the serious side , If Ocalan is still in command and he is still instructing PKK on what to do and not to do from the safty of his jail , guarded by turkish soldiers , What was the point of capturing him ?

He is a criminal, he broke the law so he needs to be punished. I thought it is very obvious and clear.

@Djembe
I was hoping to ge an answer from you , but I think you misunderstood my post , let me try to revise .

The point of capturing Ocalan was to sever the head of the organiztion , this way the organiztion will not have a leadership and will be in disarray correct ? . currently Ocalan is issuing statments regularly and giving instruction to PKK /BDP kurdish politicians and even issuing threats from the comfort of his jail . So the question is What was the point of capturing him and why is turkey allowing him to do that ? does it make sense to you ?

He is in prison for his crime. But Turkey can not do anything about someone in being in prison and communicate with others. Are you suggesting that Turkey should have executed him? There can't be anything done for this.

I was hoping they will do so ,

That still does not answer my question . I mean he is charged with terrorism just like khalid sheick mohmad and other terrorists , Do you see the USA allowing them to issue a statement or instruct alQaida to such and such .

Jejeje,

Of course USA will never allow that kind of permissions... :P

Anyway, in my opinion, Turkey has been claimed to be part of EU so many years ago, cause of that, they tried to change his authoritarism. considering revoking the death penalty, fortunately, pro-PKK and BDP people could get Öcalan be alive, and next point, do u think only turkish people is in İmralı?

As Newton said. nothing is absolute, just relative, I just give my opinion :)

Regards to all and..... Happy Birthday Talsor :D
